Ooops, I did it again

All right, so it is Tuesday again. And it's not like I didn't realize yesterday as I was sitting in the doctor's office going over my daughters CT results that I didn't know it was going to be Tuesday today. It's just somewhere betweeen then and now I completely forgot.

I guess it's about time for some changes. And what better time to make them then a few days after the new year has begun. By the way, I don't make resolutions anymore, every time I do I set myself up for complete failure. But I'm not afraid of saying I'm going to make some changes.

Like, number one, I'm going to set my alarm on my phone to remind me that next Monday I need to write a blog for Tuesday. I might even set the alarm for everyday with a special message . . . Blog! Blog! Blog! Okay, number two, now this one is going to be very difficult and might make me a bit grumpy but I've found myself up most of the night rolling around in severe discomfort. Almost every night I feel as if my belly is going to explode or as if it is on fire from the inside out. So, I'm going to cut off all carbonated drinks! Eeeek! Scary, scary since I live on Pepsi. I might even need to give up my nightly Reeses cups. Oh JOY!

As you can imagine, especially since my diet is so very limited as it is (I can't eat bread, cake, muffins or anything else that has wheat, rye or barely in it), I am not too happy about this bit of removal from my person. Pepsi and Reeses are my one little thing. They keep me sane when life gets too stressed, which occurs on a daily basis, or so I'd like to pretend.

My poor family. I fear for their well-being as I try to break my addiction, but really my grouchiness can't be much worse than me only receiving a few hours of sleep a night, can it?

All right, thirdly, I WILL work on something writing related EVERY DAY!!!! I have three projects that need to be completed, uh, YESTERDAY. But since yesterday has already disappeared I think I will shoot for one project being complete by the end of this week and the second by the end of January. Surely I can do it. I hope.

So, are you a resolution maker? Or do you just slide into the new year on a wing and a prayer?

I need to give up the diet soda and the peppermint patties. Should we try together? ;)

I approve the writing everyday and know you can finish both projects by the end of January. You usually work well in crunch time.

I'm with you, no resolutions, just milestones, right?

Good luck, Renee. I know you can complete those projects!
